We provide millions of people around the world with good nutrition through our dairy products. Along with this, we have a responsibility to reduce environmental impact across our dairy value chain. That’s why we work to reduce climate impact, support initiatives related to nature, biodiversity and regenerative agriculture, promote responsible sourcing, and improve the circular use of resources and packaging.
Our dairy value chain
The dairy value chain starts with the feed and grass that cows eat. After milking, the raw milk is transported to our production facilities, where it is processed into dairy products and ingredients for customers and consumers.
Sustainability from grass to glass
We are closely involved throughout our dairy chain, from the farm all the way up to the moment our products leave our production facilities. From grass to glass. Throughout the dairy value chain, we are taking measures aimed at reducing environmental impact and improving resource efficiency. Our Planet approach focuses on climate, nature, animal welfare and animal health, responsible sourcing, water and waste, and packaging.
Regenerative agriculture
At FrieslandCampina, we work on regenerative agriculture, with a focus on soil, water, climate, biodiversity and animal welfare. We see regenerative agriculture as a promising approach that may help strengthen the long-term resilience of our member dairy farms.

Our contribution
