Impact on people

Resilient communities

Support people in living happy and healthy lives

Supporting the communities around us is a mission that is not new to us, our eyes have been set on improving the life standard of people everywhere for a long time. But building resilient communities goes beyond providing the world with good nutrition. That is why we are focussing on working closely with the communities in our markets and beyond, addressing their needs and building their resilience. And to make sustainable impact, we contribute to this ambition in different ways.

Partnership with Red Cross

In 2023, we launched a five-year global partnership with the Dutch Red Cross to support humanitarian response and strengthen community resilience. Our partnership goes beyond emergency aid, it focuses on prevention, preparedness, and sustainable recovery.

FrieslandCampina wants to contribute to a better society. We want to do more than just produce good nutrition. As an international company, we feel a responsibility to take good care of the world. We want to inspire and help people to live healthy lives.

Educational programmes on nutrition and lifestyle

FrieslandCampina supports education programmes about healthy nutrition and lifestyle all around the world. We want to help and inspire people to make well-informed choices and integrate these into their daily lives. We do this by sharing knowledge about what makes a healthy lifestyle. In cooperation with government authorities, universities and NGOs, we have created programmes and campaigns to teach people all there is to know about food, health and exercise.

Volunteering for a positive impact

Volunteering isn’t just good for business; it feels good too. That’s why we encourage all employees to dedicate time each year to volunteer. Whether it’s supporting local initiatives or participating in programmes aligned with our Foundation’s goals, our employees femployees are eager to contribute to the communities around us.
