Supporting Resilient Communities
For over 150 years, we’ve nourished people around the world. But our responsibility goes beyond nutrition. Building resilient communities means standing by people before, during, and after crises, offering meaningful support that helps them adapt and grow stronger.
The Donations Foundation plays a key role in this mission, providing financial aid to organisations that help communities respond to emergencies and prepare for future challenges. This includes our long-term collaboration with the Netherlands Red Cross and other impactful initiatives.
Five Years of Impact
In 2023, we launched a five-year global partnership with the Dutch Red Cross to support humanitarian response and strengthen community resilience. Our partnership goes beyond emergency aid, it focuses on prevention, preparedness, and sustainable recovery. Together, we’re already making a difference:
- Food Aid in the Netherlands – Supporting individuals and families facing food insecurity
- Hot Meals in the Philippines – Operating mobile food trucks to feed disaster-affected communities
- Nature-Based Solutions – Strengthening coastal defences and protecting ecosystems
- Relief in Vietnam – Helping communities recover after Typhoon Yagi
This collaboration reflects our shared belief that meaningful change takes time, and that long-term commitment leads to lasting impact.
Funding Our Mission
The FrieslandCampina Donations Foundation is funded primarily through an annual contribution from FrieslandCampina. We also welcome donations from employees, member dairy farmers, customers, and partners. Occasionally, the Foundation engages in commercial activities that generate additional resources to further its goals.
