We believe that our success is deeply rooted in the partnerships we build with our suppliers. We are committed to ensuring smooth collaboration and delivering exceptional products to our customers.

We engage with suppliers according to the values defined in Compass: integrity, respect and transparency. Compass presents fourteen rules that are also applicable for how we purchase materials & services and the way we conduct business with our suppliers. We expect a similar mindset and behavior from our suppliers that we do business with.

• Suppliers are expected to sign our Business Practice Statement (BPS)
• Suppliers are expected to sign our Responsible Supplier Policy (RSP) from 2024 onwards.
• Suppliers which employees enter our premises to deliver goods or services (works on a FrieslandCampina site) are expected to sign our Safety Compliance Statement (SCS). (Haulers that deliver goods to our sites on behalf of a supplier are excluded).
• Suppliers that process personal data are in scope of Data Processing Agreement (DPA) and need to follow the DPA process.
• Suppliers of food safety critical materials are subject to RFC’s Food Safety & Quality regulations.

Food safety is a shared responsibility

To support the responsibility for food safety and to make the requirements clear regarding Food Safety Quality systems, FrieslandCampina shares its requirements for Food Safety and Quality with all relevant partners in the supply chain. Transparency is an important condition for successful cooperation.

FrieslandCampina expects its Suppliers to fully  comply with the applicable legal and regulatory requirements both in the country of  production and the country of delivery of materials, products or services.

Supplier Quality Management (SQM) process

FrieslandCampina has a Supplier Quality Management (SQM) process in place for all suppliers of goods and services critical to food safety and/or food quality. Becoming a qualified supplier is a partnership between our suppliers and the SQM team at FrieslandCampina.
