Sustainability on the farm
Ensuring the safe and sustainable production of milk each and every day presents challenges, for our company as well as for our member dairy farmers. One of the most important challenges is the climate. That is why we want to be a leader in the field of sustainability. We are working hard to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions, generating more and more green energy, and we are constantly involved in new developments and innovations to operate more sustainably.
Helping other farmers develop sustainably
We have more than 150 years’ worth of experience in dairy farming. We are happy to share this knowledge with dairy farmers in Asia, Africa and Eastern Europe so that they, too, can develop sustainably.
From grass to glass
We manage the entire chain, from the grass that the cows eat all the way to the dairy products in cold storage. In other words, we manage and control every phase of the “grass to glass” process. Each step between milking the cows, guaranteeing quality in factories and delivering products to the supermarkets is a step we take ourselves. We can proudly say, therefore, that our products are of the best quality.
