New distribution centre in Veghel now in use
Recently, a brand new distribution centre of approximately 26,000 m2 in Veghel was handed over to FrieslandCampina. The distribution of the Ingredients business group will partly be accommodated in this building and distributed in and outside of Europe, in particular the activities of DFE Pharma.
This new distribution centre enables more efficient and sustainable storage of products in a conditioned environment. The building is located near production locations of FrieslandCampina and inland container terminal Veghel. This enables FrieslandCampina to significantly reduce CO2 emissions. The building is all-electric and built in accordance with the BREEAM “Very Good” sustainability standard. Willems Logistic Services will be responsible for all warehouse activities in the new distribution centre for FrieslandCampina.
