Hans Meeuwis to leave FrieslandCampina
Hans Meeuwis will start a new and aspirational chapter in his career as Chief Executive Officer for Royal Cosun.
Hans joined FrieslandCampina in 2014 as Managing Director in our Cheese, Butter & Milk Powder business, and later assumed the role of President Dairy Essentials in January 2018. He successfully established the new business group, transformed it and brought focus and expertise to one of our strategic pillars “Elevate our Essentials”.
He has been instrumental in resetting and delivering on our strategy for cheese, optimising our cost base and building a future proof organisation. His strengths in people leadership and connection with one FrieslandCampina in mind has always been evident in his personal and engaging style.
Hans will continue in his role until end of February 2021, seeing through and leading the many changes currently in play. We will announce the successor to his responsibilities in due course.
