Guaranteed price for September 2017 40.50 euros

The FrieslandCampina guaranteed price for raw milk for September 2017 is 40.50 euros per 100 kilogrammes of milk. The guaranteed price increases by 2.00 euros compared to the guaranteed price for August (38.50 euros).

The guaranteed price for September includes a correction of 0.91 euros to compensate for the forecast of the milk prices of the reference companies in the previous months, which were estimated too low. It is expected that the milk prices of most reference companies will increase slightly in September. The prices for butter and cheese will continue their upward trend due to continuing demand and low stocks.

The protein price in September is 661.12 euros, the fat price is 330.56 euros and the lactose price is 66.11 euros per 100 kilogrammes.

The guaranteed price applies to 100 kilogrammes of milk with a protein content of 3.47 percent, a fat content of 4.41 percent and a lactose content of 4.51 percent and is exclusive of VAT. From 2017 the amounts shown apply to an average supply of 800,000 kilogrammes of milk annually (in previous years 600,000 kilogrammes). The volume-based premium and seasonal scheme are discontinued starting in 2017.
