Guaranteed price for March 34.00 euros

The FrieslandCampina guaranteed price for raw milk for March 2015 is 34.00 euros per 100 kilogrammes of milk. The guaranteed price is 2.50 euros higher than in February 2015 (31.50 euros).

The guaranteed price for March 2015 includes a correction of around 1.75 euros to compensate for the January forecast of the milk prices of the reference companies, which were too low. The guaranteed price also increases with 0.75 euros because of expected higher milk prices of the reference companies. The declining milk supply in Europe, Oceania and South America results in increasing quotations for milk powders, foil cheeses, whey powder and butter.

The protein price in March 2015 is 555.01 euros, the fat price is 277.51 euros and the lactose price is 55.50 euros per 100 kilogrammes.
