Guaranteed price for April 33.25 euros

The FrieslandCampina guaranteed price for raw milk for April 2015 is 33.25 euros per 100 kilogrammes of milk. The guaranteed price is 0.75 euros lower than in March 2015 (34.00 euros).

The guaranteed price for February 2015 includes a correction of around 0.65 euros to compensate for the February forecast of the milk prices of the reference companies, which were estimated too low. March already included a correction for January milk prices of reference companies that were estimated too low as well. Market conditions are relatively stable due the lower milk supply from the expected quota overruns by dairy farmers in the EU and at the same time because of a sluggish demand for dairy products in different markets.
