Guaranteed price for August 2017 38.50 euros

The FrieslandCampina guaranteed price for raw milk for August 2017 is 38.50 euros per 100 kilogrammes of milk. The guaranteed price increases by 1.25 euros compared to the guaranteed price for July (37.25 euros). 

It is expected that the milk prices of most reference companies will increase further in August. The prices for butter and cheese will continue their upward trend due to continuing demand and low stocks.

The protein price in August is 628.47 euros, the fat price is 314.23 euros and the lactose price is 62.85 euros per 100 kilogrammes.

The guaranteed price applies to 100 kilogrammes of milk with a protein content of 3.47 percent, a fat content of 4.41 percent and a lactose content of 4.51 percent and is exclusive of VAT. From 2017 the amounts shown apply to an average supply of 800,000 kilogrammes of milk annually (in previous years 600,000 kilogrammes). The volume-based premium and seasonal scheme are discontinued starting in 2017.
