Guaranteed price for April 2017 36.00 euros

The FrieslandCampina guaranteed price for raw milk for April 2017 is 36.00 euros per 100 kilogrammes of milk. The guaranteed price remains the same as in March.

The guaranteed price for April 2017 includes a correction of 0.59 euros to compensate for the February forecast of the milk prices of the reference companies, which were estimated too low. Market conditions are relatively stable. It is expected that the milk prices of most reference companies will remain stable in April.

The protein price in April 2017 is 587.66 euros, the fat price is 293.83 euros and the lactose price is 58.77 euros per 100 kilogrammes.

The guaranteed price applies to 100 kilogrammes of milk with a protein content of 3.47 percent, a fat content of 4.41 percent and a lactose content of 4.51 percent and is exclusive of VAT. From 2017 the amounts shown apply to an average supply of 800,000 kilogrammes of milk annually (in previous years 600,000 kilogrammes). The volume-based premium and seasonal scheme are discontinued starting in 2017.
