FrieslandCampina organic guaranteed price for May 2022: 57.25 euros per 100 kilos of milk
The FrieslandCampina organic guaranteed price for May is 1.75 euros higher than last month (55.50 euros). This increase is based on higher organic reference prices in the previous period and the expectation that organic farm milk prices of the reference companies will increase further due to the sustained demand for organic dairy products.
In May 2022 the protein value is 918.50 euros, the fat value 459.25 euros and the lactose value 91.85 euros per 100 kilos.
The average FrieslandCampina organic guaranteed price for 2022 up to and including May is 54.15 euros per 100 kilos of milk.
The FrieslandCampina organic guaranteed price applies to 100 kg of milk with standard contents 3.57% protein, 4.42% fat and 4.53% lactose, exclusive of VAT. The amounts stated apply to an average delivery of 550,000 kg of milk on an annual basis.
On the basis of the monthly organic guaranteed price, a member dairy farmer receives an organic milk price. The milk price is based on the fat, protein and lactose content of the milk supplied by the relevant dairy farm. The difference between the organic guaranteed price and the milk price is caused by the settlement of fixed costs of 0.29 euro. In addition, there are supplements and/or changes depending on the season.
