FrieslandCampina Members’ Council held meeting

On Tuesday, 10 June 2025, FrieslandCampina’s Members’ Council met to discuss a number of topics and make a few decisions. Among other things, the Members’ Council focused on the cooperative’s member recruitment and retention policy. A few elements of this policy have been adjusted to support new members, and existing members aiming to increase their milk volume, even better.

The Members’ Council agenda also included the reappointment of two members of the Cooperative Board, as well as a business update by the company.

Reappointment of Cooperative Board members

The Members’ Council approved the reappointment of two members of the Cooperative Board. Vice-Chair Nils den Besten has been reappointed for a second four-year term, commencing on 7 October 2025. As of that date, he will also be reappointed as a member of the company’s Supervisory Board for a second four-year term. Cor Hoogeveen has been reappointed for a third four-year term as a member of the Cooperative Board, with the usual board evaluation scheduled after two years. His new term will commence on 16 December 2025.

Business update

During the Members’ Council meeting, Hans Janssen, CFO of FrieslandCampina, provided a brief business update. He noted that the upward performance trend that began in 2024 has continued through the first five months of 2025. Janssen emphasised that the company’s financial position is strong and that strategic decisions taken in 2023 as part of the Expedition 2030 programme are contributing to a healthy future for both the cooperative and the company. FrieslandCampina’s half-year results will be published on 23 July 2025.
