Friesland­Campina Guaranteed price for October 2016 29.25 euros

The FrieslandCampina guaranteed price for raw milk for October 2016 is 29.25 euros per 100 kilogrammes of milk. The guaranteed price for increases with 3.00 euros compared to September.

The increase is in part a positive correction on too low estimated prices in the past few months. In addition to that, it is expected that the milk prices of the reference companies will increase in October. The positive development of the milk price is caused by increasing quotations for almost all dairy base products, with (foil) cheese, butter and consumption milk as outliers. The milk supply in the EU is decreasing with a more or less stable demand worldwide, and increasing demand in Asia.

The protein price in October 2016 is 477.47 euros, the fat price is 238.74 euros and the lactose price is 47.75 euros per 100 kilogrammes.

The guaranteed price applies to 100 kilogrammes of milk with a protein content of 3.47%, a fat content of 4.41% and a lactose content of 4.51% and is exclusive of VAT. The amounts shown apply to an average supply of 600,000 kilogrammes of milk annually.
