Guaranteed price for December 30.00 euros

The FrieslandCampina guaranteed price for raw milk for December 2015 is 30.00 euros per 100 kilogrammes of milk. The guaranteed price for December therefore increases with 0.25 euros compared to November (29.75 euros).

The increase of the guaranteed price is due to a positive correction. In the last two months a number of reference companies paid higher milk prices than estimated. This as a result of the increase in the prices of consumer milk, especially products in some Western European countries. Because of the high milk supply there remains pressure on the markings of most dairy products. The protein price in December 2015 is 489.72 euros, the fat price is 244.86 euros and the lactose price is 48.97 euros per 100 kilogrammes.

Over the whole of 2015 the guaranteed price will be 30.60 euros. In 2014, the guaranteed price was 39.38 euros and the milk price was 42.70 (guaranteed price + performance payment + meadow milk premium + special supplements + reservation of member bonds)

The guaranteed price applies to 100 kilogrammes of milk with a protein content of 3.47%, a fat content of 4.41% and a lactose content of 4.51% and is exclusive of VAT. The amounts shown apply to an average supply of 600,000 kilogrammes of milk annually.
