Frans van den Hurk steps down as member of the Board of Zuivelcoöperatie FrieslandCampina U.A.
Frans van den Hurk has decided to step down and relinquish his position as a member of the Board of Zuivelcoöperatie FrieslandCampina U.A. and the Supervisory Board of Royal FrieslandCampina N.V. with immediate effect.
The reason for this decision is that Van den Hurk does not agree with the company’s current strategies and that he has not been able to have affect any meaningful change to these strategies over the past eight months.
Chairman Erwin Wunnekink: “The Board regrets Frans' decision. Frans has made an important contribution to our discussions and we would have liked to keep him on board. Of course, we also respect his decision.”
Frans van den Hurk will remain a member of the cooperative and will now turn his full focus on running his dairy farm in Lieshout.
