Dutch Lady Milk Industries Berhad (DLMI) Unveils Cutting-Edge Distribution Centre at Bandar Enstek

FrieslandCampina’s Malaysian operational company Dutch Lady Milk Industries Berhad (DLMI) unveiled its new state-of-the-art Distribution Centre at its manufacturing facility, DLMI@Enstek in Negeri Sembilan. The launch comes exactly one year after the inauguration of DLMI@Enstek and coincides with DLMI’s 62nd anniversary; marking a triple milestone in the company’s journey.

The Distribution Centre, built in under nine months, completes DLMI's production and distribution infrastructure on their 13-hectare site. The project was made possible through collaboration with construction partners WSP Engineering Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., TechnyGroup Holdings (M) Sdn. Bhd., and Trip Guard Sdn. Bhd.

Veronika Winanti Wahyu Utami, DLMI’s new Managing Director, highlighted that the new distribution centre is crucial to the company’s future ambitions: “The facility plays a key role in strengthening our supply chain, supporting sustainable practices, and better serving customers across the country as DLMI continues to nourish Malaysians—now and for generations to come. It also creates employment opportunities for the local community, contributing to both health and economic growth in the state,” she said.

“This new Distribution Centre marks another milestone in our long-term commitment to Malaysia,” said David Cutter, Chief Supply Chain Officer at FrieslandCampina. “By integrating it with DLMI’s manufacturing facility, we’re not only enhancing operational accuracy and storage efficiency, but also accelerating order fulfilment and reducing the risk of human error—ensuring we can deliver better nutrition to more Malaysians, more reliably.”

With a capacity of nearly 25,000 pallets, the Centre will ensure timely and efficient product delivery across Malaysia. As part of DLMI’s sustainability commitment, solar panels will be installed on the rooftop by the end of 2025, expected to save 20-25% of total electricity and reduce carbon emissions by 13-16% compared to 2022.

The establishment of DLMI@Enstek and the Distribution Centre underscores the power of public-private collaboration, made possible with the support of federal and state governments and various agencies.
