Better balance with women in production or logistics

Look around you in the production locations of FrieslandCampina and you see … mainly men. Annet Hiemstra, as a plant manager responsible for the work of 160 employees in the can factory of FrieslandCampina in Leeuwarden (NL), tells about how it is to work as a woman in a man’s world.

According to Annet being a woman offers added value in her work. “I am less afraid to show my emotions.” Therefore she pleads for more diversity. “I think women can be complementary in a man’s world and create a better balance.”
