Wout Dekker new member of the Supervisory Board of FrieslandCampina

Wout Dekker will join the Supervisory Board of Royal FrieslandCampina N.V. on 1 July 2017. He will also be Chairman of the Remuneration and Appointment Committee. With this, he fills the vacancy that was created by the resignation of Peter Elverding from the Supervisory Board because of health reasons as from 12 April 2017.

At this moment, Wout Dekker is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Randstad Holding nv and the Princess Máxima center for pediatric oncology. In addition, he is a member of the Supervisory Board of SHV Holdings N.V. He was Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Rabobank from 2010 until 2016 – of which 3 years as chairman – and member of the Supervisory Board of Macintosh Retail Group from 2007 until 2014. From 2000 until 2012, he was Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Executive Board of Nutreco.

Dekker has gained broad experience as a manager and in the areas of talent development and remuneration of executives. Therefore he perfectly matches the profile of Chairman of the Remuneration and Appointments Committee.

The appointment of Wout Dekker will be valid for the period from 1 July 2017 until December 2020. The Central Works Council has approved the appointment of Wout Dekker.
