Vifit Sport, the sports nutrition brand of FrieslandCampina, will be the new naming partner of the Pro Triathlon Team from next year. This was announced prior to the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii, along with the announcement that Swiss cycling manufacturer BMC continues its sponsorship. The name ‘BMC Vifit Sport Pro Triathlon Team’ will come into effect at the beginning of next year. Vifit Sport will be the team’s nutrition partner.
The partnership will run for three years and focus on achieving a coveted Ironman victory in Kona as well as on the development of the athletes’ promising talent pool into regular winners in Ironman, Olympic and Challenge races around the world. BMC Vifit Sport Pro Triathlon Team athletes train up to forty hours every week in order to perform at the highest level. The Vifit Sport brand aims at providing an optimal nutritional effect, with focus on improved recovery.
