11 September 2013

On the morning of Wednesday 16 October 2013, Queen Máxima of the Netherlands will open the new FrieslandCampina Innovation Centre in Wageningen. The completion of the new centre brings together most of FrieslandCampina’s research and development activities under a single roof.

FrieslandCampina aims to use the new Innovation Centre to respond even more effectively to growing demand on the global market for healthy, sustainably produced nutrition. Cooperation, knowledge-sharing and mutual inspiration are key to this process.

The FrieslandCampina Innovation Centre is located on the campus of Wageningen University. It accommodates 450 staff, 350 of whom are R&D personnel who will have access to approximately 18,000 square metres of laboratories, test areas and a pilot plant. The building houses also an Experience Centre where visitors and employees can find out about the products of FrieslandCampina.
