Kees Gielen resigns from his position as member of the Executive Board of Royal FrieslandCampina N.V. on 31 December 2015. Kees Gielen was Chief Financial Officer of Royal FrieslandCampina N.V. from 1 January 2009 to 1 January 2015. He was Chief Operating Officer Business Development from 1 January 2015.

Kees Gielen will start working at the Nederlandsche Betaal & Wisselmaatschappij (NBWM) on 1 January 2016. NBWM is a – fast growing FinTech company focussing on faster and cheaper execution of foreign currency transactions for small- and medium-sized enterprises. He is the intended new CEO. His appointment is subject to the approval of the Dutch Central Bank (DNB) and the regulator AFM.
Kees Gielen is a Supervisory Board member of Betagen in Thailand (chairman) and Alaska Milk Corporation in the Philippines. From 1 January 2016 he will be a Supervisory Board member of Sodiaal in France.
