The Chinese government institution National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has imposed fines on a number of producers of infant nutrition in China. FrieslandCampina Trading (Shanghai) Co. Ltd., a subsidiary company of Royal FrieslandCampina, received a 5,9 million euro fine.

The NDRC reached the conclusion that FrieslandCampina Trading (Shanghai) had entered into contracts with buyers that were not in compliance with the local legislation. FrieslandCampina will pay the fine. The contracts have been revised by now.
