FrieslandCampina Cheese wins again in Wisconsin

Different varieties of Milner cheese, made by FrieslandCampina Cheese, won three prizes during the World Championship Cheese Contest in Wisconsin. Frico Cantenaar was also successful at the championship. Cheese makers from twenty countries competed in this cheese competition.

FrieslandCampina cheese came out in the top four of the category Reduced Fat Soft & Semi-soft cheeses. The number one is Frico Cantenaar, with the highest number of points in this category: 99.65. Milner Extra Mature, Milner Mustard and Milner Mature were right behind with all three scoring more than 99 points.

Of the 56 submissions in the category Reduced Fat Soft & Semi-soft cheeses, thirteen were from FrieslandCampina. In addition to the top four, three of the company’s other cheeses were among the top ten.

World Championship Cheese Contest
The World Championship Cheese Contest in Wisconsin is the largest international cheese competition in the world. More than 2,300 participants from twenty countries take part in the competitions which are divided into different classes (types of cheese). The cheeses made by FrieslandCampina have been regular winners in recent years.
