Guaranteed price July 32 euros

Amersfoort, the Netherlands - The FrieslandCampina guaranteed price for raw milk for July 2012 is 32 euros per 100 kilogrammes of milk. Consequently, the guaranteed price remains at the same level as in June.

The guaranteed price for July remains stable, because virtually no change is expected in the prices paid for raw milk. The reason for this is that July is seen as a holiday month and as a result, the dairy market is usually quiet. The fat price in July 2012 will rise to 2,85 euros per kilogramme, while the protein price will fall to 6,52 euros per kilogramme (June 2012: 2.71 euros and 6.69 euros respectively). The guaranteed price applies to 100 kilogrammes of milk with a fat content of 4.41% and a protein content of 3.47% and is exclusive of VAT.
