FrieslandCampina in Asia and Pacific
FrieslandCampina has a long history of activity on the Asian market. For example, we have been selling dairy products in Vietnam and Indonesia for more than 80 years. This initially began with the sale of sweetened condensed milk and has since extended to a wide range of dairy products. Whether it’s milk-based drinks, baby food, yoghurts, yoghurt drinks or advanced dairy ingredients, FrieslandCampina’s products can be found in many Asian countries.
We also have sales offices and our own production plants across Asia. And we import milk and dairy products from Europe through our operating company FrieslandCampina Export.
So as you can see, Asia is crucial to FrieslandCampina. This is reflected in our figures, which show that in 2009, Asia accounted for 17% of our turnover.
