Butter: a tasty bread spread, handy ingredient in the kitchen

Butter is a pure and natural product, with wonderful natural properties. It’s both a tasty bread spread and a handy ingredient in the kitchen. Our consumer-packaged butter is available in many countries. In Europe, our butter is sold under the familiar brands from other dairy products such as Campina (Botergoud and Buttergold), Landliebe and Milli. In countries outside Europe we sell consumer-packaged butter and butter oil under such brands as Campina and Frico.

Butter is as classic as it is modern. After all, alongside the well-known wrapped product, consumers in various countries can also buy butter in handy resealable packagings, spreadable straight from the fridge and sometimes in lower fat varieties.

Natural milk fat is always the basis for our butter – and the source of that special flavour experience.

Butter is butter, but not all butter is the same. The composition of the milk fat, and hence the spreadability of the butter, depends on the cow’s diet. Campina Botergoud (Netherlands), for instance, is made from Campina milk which has a consistently different fat composition from ordinary milk.
