Supervisory Board
The entire Board of Zuivelcoöperatie FrieslandCampina forms part of the Supervisory Board of the FrieslandCampina company. Alongside these nine members from the Board, the Supervisory Board also includes four external members.
The role and responsibilities of the Supervisory Board are comparable with those of the Supervisory Board of other companies of similar size. Its unique characteristic is that nine of the thirteen members of the Supervisory Board are dairy farmers.

In accordance with the roster, on 14 December 2011 Messrs Kees Wantenaar, Rob ter Haar and Jorrit Jorritsma resigned as Chairman and members of the Supervisory Board respectively. None of them were eligible for reappointment. On the same date Messrs Sjoerd Galema, Tex Gunning and Hans Stöcker were appointed as members of the Supervisory Board. Mr Piet Boer was appointed Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Mr Jan Uijttewaal was appointed Vice-chairman of the Supervisory Board.
