Baby and infant nutrition
When it comes to baby and infant nutrition, safe and healthy ingredients are key to promote healthy growth. Our operating company FrieslandCampina Domo has years of experience in baby and infant nutrition as well as with the ingredients for these foods. Together with our customers we develop mainly whey-based ingredients that meet the consumer’s needs. Under the Domo brand name, we deliver a total solution for the infant nutrition market, varying from separate ingredients and basic powders to complete infant nutrition, including consumer packaging.
Medical nutrition
Medical nutrition is aimed at various consumer groups with a nutritional imbalance who need nutritional support for short or longer periods. Under the Domo brand name we are an important supplier for producers of medical foods, for instance in the form of hydrosolates. Domo’s innovations in the field of medical nutrition are particularly focused on flavour and mouth feel. Strong emphasis is also placed on the stability of ingredients. And, of course, on safety and quality - precisely because this food is often consumed by people who are already vulnerable.
Cell nutrition
Under our Domo brand, we supply ingredients to producers of cell cultures for biopharmaceutical medicines and microbial diagnostics. Our protein hydrolysates provide the basis for this. Thanks to our years of experience in the field of proteins and protein hydrolysates, we are able to meet the high safety and quality standards required in this market. We work on new applications together with our customers.
