In the consumer’s home
Good consumer habits also extend the shelf life of milk products and benefit its quality. It is important to ensure that the temperature of chilled dairy produce does not rise too much on the way from the shop to the consumer’s home. Consumers must also place the chilled milk products in a sufficiently cool fridge (preferably 4°C) as soon as possible.
Good domestic hygiene is also vital, both when consuming and using dairy produce: always work with clean hands and use clean glasses, bowls and pans.
